Ms. Chang Liu, a top prizewinner in the Piano Competition in Beijing, China earned a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She has won many competitions, and performed regularly at the Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, and Merkin Concert Hall. She holds a Master of Music degree from Manhattan school of Music and has worked as a pianist at the Manhattan School of Music and in its preparatory division. She is an active educator, acclaimed teacher, and adjudicator. She has judged many competitions including NJMTA events, Crescendo Competition, Music-Fest Competition, and the Elite Competition.
Mila Filatova, graduated with highest honors from the prestigious Sobinov Conservatory of Music in Saratov, Russia. A highly distinguished concert pianist in both Russia and the United States, her credits include numerous performances on television and radio. She is founder of Mila Filatova’s Piano Academy in Manchester, NH and the Sempre Musick International Competition. She teaches piano at St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH and privately in Andover MA. A dedicated and extraordinary teacher and musical activist, creating unique performance opportunities and commissioning new works, her students continually receive the highest awards and distinctions at musical competitions across New England, the United States, and Europe.
Tamara Poddubnaya – concert pianist and harpsichordist, professor and director of music and piano department at Long Island Conservatory of Music, New York (USA), permanent Chairperson and Jury member of various International festivals and competitions, holder of Golden Muse and St. Sofia Awards in Bulgaria. Tamara performs and teaches masterclasses all over Europe, America and Asia.
David Feltner is Music Director of the Nashua Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Boston. As an advocate for music of our time, Mr. Feltner has conducted many premieres and works by living composers. Mr. Feltner has served as Associate Conductor and Chorus Master for Boston Lyric Opera and as Cover Conductor for Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops. He has also served as Cover Conductor for the Rhode Island Philharmonic, been Guest Conductor for the Topeka Symphony Orchestra, Adelphi Chamber Orchestra, Boston Civic Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic Community Orchestra and Intermezzo: The New England Chamber Opera Series.
Yazhi Guo (Suona virtuoso) graduated with distinction from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, has won many international awards, and was named by the Ministry of Culture as one of China’s most outstanding musicians. He has recorded original music for over 100 films and popular TV series. Guo is a multi-instrumentalist and innovator, inventing a movable reed the flexible core of Suona. It makes the Suona able to play with the Eastern as well as the Western orchestras. As a graduate of Berklee College of Music with an Artist Diploma, he led the Berklee Jazz band to visit China in 2016, and was recognized by the Mayor of Boston and the Governor of Massachusetts for the excellence in cross-cultural contribution.
